W. Edward McCall
W. Edward McCall is a graduate of the University of Toronto (Bachelor of Education, Music and Computer Studies) and Westminster Choir College (Masters of Music, Choral Conducting and Music Education).
A veteran choral music educator, Mr. McCall has directed choirs in Canada and the United States, appearing at festivals and choral conferences around the globe. In addition to teaching, Mr. McCall served on the board of directors for the Pennsylvania chapter of the American Choral Directors Association and the Bucks County Music Educators Association. Most recently, Mr. McCall taught in the music education department at Westminster Choir College.
Mr. McCall is travel coordinator for Artist Travel Consultants in New York City working with groups performing at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center. He is also the Director of Music at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Doylestown.
He has prepared and directed choirs for national television appearances, professional recordings, symphony appearances, choral festivals, national tours, and a Papal visit. Choral reviews by Mr. McCall have been published in the Choral Journal and articles relating to choral-orchestral works were published in the Canadian choral journal Anacrusis. He adjudicates at choral festivals in the United States and Canada.
